Honoring our Heroes - in Memory of Aryeh, David and Yakir
Danny Morris
This year, I am dedicating my ride in loving memory of three extraordinary souls – Aryeh Ziering, David Schwartz, and Yakir Hexter. These brave young soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice while defending our people and land. Aryeh, David, and Yakir exemplified courage, resilience, and selflessness, and their unwavering commitment to protecting others and our homeland serves as an inspiration to us all. Though they are no longer with us, their spirit and sacrifice will forever be remembered.
As I pedal through the 180 miles of Bike4Chai, I carry the memories of these heroes in my heart. Every hill climbed, every mile conquered, and every donation received is a tribute to their legacy. By honoring these young soldiers, we also extend our support to children fighting their own battles against cancer and other life-threatening conditions through the vital programs of Chai Lifeline.
Chai Lifeline provides critical support to children battling cancer and their families. Life for a kid with cancer or another life-threatening condition is fraught with pain, fear, and unimaginable challenges. For two weeks every summer, these children get to forget about their illnesses and experience life simply as kids at Camp Simcha. This extraordinary opportunity allows hundreds of children to restore their fighting spirit and renew their determination to defeat illness and suffering.
Please join me in honoring Aryeh, David, and Yakir. Your continued support means the world to me, and together, we can make a difference in their memory.
Your generosity will not only support the vital programs of Chai Lifeline but will also honor the lives of these remarkable individuals.
Thank you for standing by my side in this meaningful journey. Together, let's make this year's Bike4Chai one that honors the heroes we've lost and brings hope to those in need.
Am Yisrael Chai!!!
