Imagine for a moment, the smiling face of a child beaming at you, a stranger, with pure joy and happiness. In this moment, the child does not think about their chemotherapy sessions, endless hospital visits, or the pain they endure daily. All they care about is cheering you on as you bike through the finish line into their special needs summer camp. This camp allows them, if even for just a few weeks, to just be kids.

Now imagine dozens of these children, all cheering from the sidelines.

THIS is why I'm undertaking the grueling 180-mile bike ride. To raise funds for for Chai Lifeline. Every mile I ride and every dollar I raise will help support critical programs and services for more than 6,000 families impacted by illness, crisis, and loss.

Having worked in healthcare for 15 years, focusing on clinical research and patient safety, I've seen firsthand the challenges these families face. The resilience and courage of these children inspire me every day. If riding a grueling 180 miles plays even a small role in giving them back a tiny part of their childhood, is it not completely worth it?

Bike4Chai supports Chai Lifeline, an organization providing critical care and services to over 6,000 families impacted by illness, crisis, and loss. Every dollar raised funds medical treatments, therapies, and special programs that bring joy and normalcy to these brave children.

Will you help me make this a reality?

Every dollar counts! Thank you for your generosity and support. Together, we can make a real difference.

Thank you,
- Gene Sobol
